Pets Of The Week - Cookie And Quirky

The Advocate has partnered with the Humane Society of Northeast Texas to bring you two lovable pets in need of adoption each week!

This weeks duo are Cookie and Quirky, both small in size and big in heart.

#D20082297 "Cookie" is an adult male Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, between 1 and 2 years old, with a peppy personality. Cookie loves to be the center of attention and will enjoy getting to spend as much time with his pet parent as possible -- going for walks, taking trips in the car, or cuddling in a recliner while watching TV. If you've been looking for a small house pet and constant companion, Cookie may be a perfect fit. Visit him at the Humane Society of Northeast Texas, 303 Enterprise Street in Longview, phone 903-297-2170, or log onto www.hsntx.org for more information.

#C20081479 "Quirky" can't help but look adorable as he playfully swats at balls, wads of paper, or any moving object that appeals to his sense of curiosity. This 4- to 5-month-old male brown tabby whispers a quiet meow when he wants a little attention, enjoys cuddling and purring in your ear, and would make a wonderful addition to any cat-loving family. For adoption information, please contact the Humane Society of Northeast Texas at 903-297-2170, 303 Enterprise Street, or www.hsntx.org.
